Ceramic coatings are applied to a wide variety of surfaces to protect, increase durability and improve wear resistance.
Ceramic coatings are liquid during application. Once cured, they form an impenetrable, protective barrier on the surface with the following benefits:

Ceramic coatings are often used in industry, rolling stock, marine and aerospace to protect materials from oxidation, rust and the adverse effects of chemicals. In addition, surfaces treated with a ceramic coating are easier to clean and maintain.

Mavro International’s ceramic coating products: Ceradur®
Mavro’s ceramic coatings are contained in the Ceradur® product line. These coatings are based on polysilazanes, silicon and nitrogen.
We supply an optimally suitable product for every surface, from metal and glass to plastic, aluminium and wood. Developed in our laboratory and tested on numerous substrates, these ceramic coatings are tailored to the requirements and expectations of our loyal customer base.
Of course, it does not stop here. Our R&D department is constantly looking for innovations and improvements to perfect our ceramic coatings in areas such as durability and elasticity.

The technology behind Ceradur® are “polysilazanes. Polysilazanes were developed and patented years ago by a major chemical concern. Polysilazanes are among the most durable protections of modern times. This technology is available for companies like Mavro to process into finished products. By combining the patented polysilazanes with special additives, solvents and excipients, an end product with specific properties and applications is created. The result of years of expertise and development is our Ceradur® product line.
Yes, Ceradur® can be used as the ultimate form of paint protection. The ceramic top coat provides long-term protection against scratches, dirt, graffiti and UV radiation. Ceradur® is also successfully used as a paint sealer on rolling stock such as buses, trains and subways.
