You only make a first impression once, and the facade of a building is a business card in this regard. The preservation of a facade is therefore very important. This process ensures that the facade retains its original appearance, the lifespan is extended and the frequency of cleaning can be reduced.
When a facade is made of a porous material, it is often chosen to hydrophobic or impregnate the facade. But what to do when this is not the case?

Protecting against different contaminants
You can protect a facade from different types of soiling. Some examples are atmospheric pollutants, moisture, solvents, greases and graffiti. In addition, coatings offer protection for up to 15 years, color restoration, beautification and “easy-to-clean” properties.
Protecting non-porous cladding
The coatings can be applied to many types of non-porous substrates such as plastic, full-core cladding/façade cladding, (powder-coated) aluminum and coated substrates. Depending on the substrate and requirements, we choose the appropriate preservation system.
Types of facade protection
Depending on the situation, there are different options for protecting your facade. Appropriate to the substrate, wishes and requirements, we have different products for optimal facade protection. Each product has its own unique properties.
Semi-permanent protection means that the coating is easily removed and must be reapplied. When a semi-permanent coating is not cleaned or removed, it provides 1 to 5 years of protection.
We have developed several semi-permanent, reversible coatings, Nitowax, Nitoshield and Nitocryl®. Each product has its own unique properties. All of our semi-permanent coatings offer protection against atmospheric contaminants. Nitocryl® even offers protection against moisture, oils, solvents and greases.
With a permanent system, the coating lasts as long as 5 to 10 years. This is a good solution for long-term maintenance. After applying the coating, there is less need for cleaning which significantly reduces cleaning and cleaning costs. We have permanent coatings both transparent and color.
In addition to our transparent permanent coating, we also have a permanent color coating. Nitocolour is a permanent renovation coating on color with a lifespan of up to 10 years! Also, this coating also offers anti-graffiti properties.
