Mavro International’s Mavroseal line of products is designed to counter the factors that contribute to the deterioration of facades. These products provide water repellency, UV resistance, and improved color stability to porous surfaces, helping to prevent staining and discoloration caused by water and environmental exposure. The Mavroseal line of products is suitable for use on a wide range of porous surfaces including concrete, brick, natural stone, and even some types of clinker.
Basic facade impregnation coating in liquid and gel form
The basic Mavroseal Facade Coating is a high-quality, breathable, and water-repellent coating that is suitable for all types of porous facades. It provides long-lasting protection against water, and makes dirt much easier to clean and algae to be removed, while also allowing the wall to breathe. It is easy to apply with a brush or roller. Mavroseal Gel is a thicker version of the product which makes use on vertical surfaces or sports that are hard to reach much easier. It is ideal for use on rough or uneven surfaces, such as natural stone or heavily textured brick.
Mavro International’s strong & extra strong facade impregnation products
Mavro strong and extra strong facade impregnators are acrylic-based facade coatings that provide water repellency, UV resistance, and improved color stability to porous surfaces. They are formulated to provide a strong barrier against water, which helps to prevent staining and darker coloration on the facade. Additionally, they offer UV resistance to protect against fading and discoloration caused by sunlight. Both of these products can be used on most porous facades including concrete, brick, and natural stone
Mavroseal Fluor
Mavroseal Fluor is a fluoropolymer-based impregnator for facades that provides extreme water repellency and UV resistance. Moreover it is also verry grease and oil repellent, that is why we advise it’s use on les porous surfaces which are exposed to food, oil and grease residue, like tiles and pavers in kitchens, malls, busy streets and other public places.
Mavroseal facade nano coating
Mavro Nano Facade Coating is a nanotechnology-based impregnator for facades. This is a special protective coating, that stands out from all the other types of facade protective coatings because the nano technology based coatings are extremely durable and heavy duty. This coating is often used for protecting roof, because of its oleophobic and hydrophobic properties. It has an extreme beading effect and makes the protected surface water and dirt repellent for a long time. The best part is that it does not seal the surface and remains 100% water vapour permeable while being resistant to UV, frost, salt water and alkaline cleaners.

Yes, the success of the treatment depends on the condition of the substrate. A dirty facade will reduce the penetration of the impregnating agent and therefore reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
No, in principle all impregnation products are completely invisible. After treatment, the facade may have a slightly darker color during and after the drying period, but this will disappear by itself. An exception is Mavroseal Wetlook, this product actually gives a long-term color deepening to the surface.
Impregnation/hydrophobizing is a specialized job. The treatment stands or falls with proper preparation, restoration of the substrate and, of course, professional application of the right product. We always recommend having this done by a specialist.
A solvent-based impregnating agent is used only on facades where a hydrophobic coating is already present. In all other cases, a water-based impregnating agent is the cheapest and most environmentally friendly option.
Silane/siloxane impregnants are the standard when it comes to hydrophobizing mineral facades. These products penetrate deep into the substrate and provide long-term water repellency. Fluorine impregnants are a superficial treatment, but are able to repel grease, dirt and even graffiti in addition to water.
Mavro’s fluoropolymer-based products are based on C6 technology that degrades faster in the environment and contains no harmful substances.
