What are graffiti removers?
Graffitis come in many different forms. Beautiful forms, when they are a mural or work of art. But it becomes a lot less beautiful when graffiti is unwanted and illegally applied to, for example, the facade of your house, fence or other property.
Fortunately, there are ways to solve your graffiti problems. We offer a wide range of biodegradable graffiti removers. For numerous substrates and for every kind of graffiti you can think of.

Graffiti remover for every substrate
Graffitis and other vandal writings can be done with various types of equipment like spray cans, paint, graffiti brushes and (acid) markers. The type of graffiti remover should also be matched to the vulnerability of the surface.
At Mavro International’s lab, we managed to develop an especially widely applicable graffiti remover. It’s called Graffiti Remover Gel. Carefully formulated and effective for virtually all forms of graffiti and inks.
As powerful as this remover is against graffiti, it is gentle on porous and hard substrates, including concrete, masonry, metal, glass, natural stone and some plastics.
Besides our widely applicable GraffitiRemover Gel, we also have some variants of this product:
For (extra) vulnerable substrates, our universal graffiti remover comes in a Lite and Extra Lite variant. With these graffiti removal products, you can easily and quickly remove graffiti from traffic signs, painted surfaces, street furniture, Plexiglas, polycarbonate and other plastics
Stubborn forms of graffiti are best tackled with Graffiti Remover Gel Strong. A powerful graffiti remover, even at low temperatures and for very old graffiti
A specially developed graffiti cleaner for trains, buses, metros and other rolling stock is Graffitigel 221 RS. Safe for most powdered coatings.
Graffiti shadow removers
When graffiti is applied to porous surfaces such as masonry and concrete, post-treatment is required for optimal results. Colours such as black, dark blue and red sometimes leave so-called graffiti shadows. This is because on porous mineral substrates, the colour pigment often penetrates deep into the material. Graffiti shadows require a special approach.
The solution to this challenge comes from our laboratory. The uniquely developed graffiti shadow remover Shadow Remover which pulls the pigments out of the substrate, as it were, so that even the last contours of the graffiti disappear.
Our Shadow Remover comes in liquid and gel form. For the most stubborn graffiti shadows, there is also a Strong variant.
Graffiti does not just come from a spray can. It is often also daubed with markers and permanent markers. Mavro Ink Remover is a powerful remedy for ink on street furniture, dustbins, facade cladding, train benches and many other objects.
Our ink remover comes in a liquid variant and in gel form. Use the liquid ink remover for a quick, deep clean. Want to treat a vertical surface such as a wall or facade where a longer soaking time is required? Then our ink remover gel is what you are looking for. Easy to apply and free from drips and leaks.

After years of experience and research, it is clear that each specific contamination is most effectively removed with a specially designed product. Using the wrong product can actually make removal more difficult in some cases. We therefore always recommend choosing the appropriate product for each type of soiling.
Mavro’s products are developed with raw materials that are safe for the environment, the surface and the user. However, the graffiti that is removed is harmful and is best collected with an absorption rolls or collection mats. Afterwards, it is important to dispose of the graffiti residue as chemical waste.
