Cleaning a facade becomes much easier and more economical after facade impregnation. Impregnating a facade (also known as hydrophobising a facade) makes it water-repellent and weather-resistant. Moisture, UV rays, algae, moss and atmospheric pollutants thus don’t stick so easily and are removed more easily.
As with facade cleaning, the substrate is also a very important factor for picking and applying a good facade coating. Depending on the type of material and the desired result, water-based coatings, solvent-based impregnants and creams can be used.
