WillemsUnie (un partenariat entre les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s Van Hattum et Blankevoort de VolkerWessels et KWS Infra et les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s GMB et Van den Herik pour les travaux c\u00f4tiers et de berge) a \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9 par le Rijkswaterstaat de la construction du Zuid-Willemsvaart entre la Meuse et Den Dungen. Cette mission repr\u00e9sente un montant de 150 millions d&rsquo;euros. La WillemsUnie construira la nouvelle connexion, qui bifurque du canal existant pr\u00e8s du Dungensebrug. Via Rosmalen et le Koornwaard, presque parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 l&rsquo;A2, le canal se dirige vers la Meuse.<\/p><p>Le nouveau canal \u00e9tant adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 des navires plus grands, l&rsquo;accessibilit\u00e9 de Veghel est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e et offre de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s pour le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique dans la r\u00e9gion. La mise en \u0153uvre du projet d\u00e9butera \u00e0 la mi-2011. Pour maintenir la liaison entre les deux rives, six ponts sont en cours de construction. Les deux nouvelles \u00e9cluses assurent la r\u00e9gulation du niveau d&rsquo;eau dans le canal.<\/p><p>ProNed a commenc\u00e9 en 2013 avec le traitement de toutes les parties en b\u00e9ton. Mavro a les sp\u00e9cifications pour la protection contre l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 et les graffitis des tunnels, des \u00e9cluses et des colonnes.
