PROTECTIVE COATINGS
To preserve and protect facades, floors, (infrastructural) works of art and many other surfaces, coatings and impregnants are the best solution.
Mavro offers a wide range of coating products and impregnating agents, with different chemical compositions and properties specially developed for specific applications and substrates.
Roughly speaking, these products can be divided into four categories:

At Mavro International we develop our coating and impregnation products in our laboratory. We use state-of-the-art technology and methods. We then test our protective coatings on numerous substrates to ensure their effectiveness and durability.

Anti-graffiti coatings
Anti-graffiti coatings are at the best protection against graffiti and other forms of vandalism.
Easy to apply and suitable for many materials, including concrete, masonry, plastic, metal, glass and more. Choose a semi-permanent anti-graffiti coating or protect to the maximum with a permanent coating. Has your facade, wall or (infrastructural) work of art been “attacked”?
No problem, the coating makes cleaning easy and thus cost-saving.
Nano coatings
Innovative and highly effective, those are our nano coatings. These advanced coatings consist of extremely small particles that can penetrate into the smallest pores of the substrate, ‘sealing’ them.
Nano coatings are dirt- and water-resistant and make any surface hard and smooth, making it virtually indestructible and protecting it from scratches and other impacts.
Our Nitoguard® product line consists of high-quality nano coatings for different types of surfaces including plastic, glass, textiles, wood, natural stone and more.
Ceramic coatings
Ceramic coatings are among our best surface protectors. These coatings are applied as a liquid and form a hard, durable protective layer. Scratches, UV rays, moisture, high temperatures, dirt, oxidation, chemicals… they no longer affect your coated surface. Ceramic coatings are widely used in industry, but also in the marine, aviation and even household sectors.
We have collected our ceramic coatings in the Ceradur product line. A breakthrough at the molecular level. The unique formulation of alternating nitrogen atoms and silicon atoms is a hallmark in polymer engineering.
Facade coatings
Facade impregnants for all types of buildings and materials. At Mavro, we promise that your facade is in good hands with our professional facade coatings that protect against moisture, dirt, UV radiation and atmospheric influences. Protecting porous facades in this way has many advantages, including, but not limited to:

Renovation coatings

Floor impregnating agents
It is not so much a coating, yet we have chosen to present our floor impregnation products to you in this way. The main difference between coating and impregnating lies in where the product acts. A coating is applied to the substrate and forms an opaque protective layer.
Impregnating products soake into the substrate, protecting the floor from the inside against wear, dust, moisture and more. This extends the life of the floor and makes it easier to maintain.
Stainless steel coatings
Stainless steel is a durable material that resists dirt and contamination for a long time. Yet contrary to popular belief, this material also needs maintenance.
Our INOX Concept product line helps you easily maintain, clean and protect stainless steel. From extractor hoods and dispensers to lift doors and escalators.
Other coatings
Sometimes materials or surfaces require a specific approach and coating. We have compiled these special coatings in the ‘other coatings’ category. Here you will find, among other things, a coating to colour mineral roof tiles and make them water-repellent.
